WHAT IS THE SEA BRIGHT SKIM BASH?
The Sea Bright Skim Bash presented by Jersey Shore Skim Camp and Skim City (watch video)
is the premiere Pro/Am skimboarding contest on the Jersey shore.
Skimboarders from around the country, of all ages, from beginners to professionals, gather for this annual action-packed 2-day event to show off their skills, and compete for prizes and cash.
Spectators are welcome!
WHEN:
The 7th annual Sea Bright SkimBash takes place Saturday and Sunday, September 11-12, 2010. The contest runs for two days, with preliminary heats on Saturday; and semi-finals, finals on Sunday.
Registration begins Saturday at 8:00 a.m., contest will end around 5 p.m. both days. Riders must be prepared to spend the entire day at the beach.
WHERE:
The Sea Bright Municipal Beach (behind Donovans). All Skim Bash participants/spectators MUST PARK IN THE MUNICIPAL LOT, no exceptions. There will be NO PARKING AT DONOVAN'S REEF.
COST TO COMPETE:
Amateur entry fee: $25. Includes event t-shirt, breakfast & lunch, giveaways. Prizes awarded to first, second, and third place finishers in all divisions.
Pro entry fee: $75. Pro division is open to anyone, includes t-shirt, breakfast & lunch, giveaways. Pros skim for a cash purse.

IMPORTANT! You must return the Hold Harmless Agreement with your check, or you cannot participate in the contest. NO EXCEPTIONS.
